It's really depressing to find out that the people who you considered as friends never really thought of you the same way.

One word: disappointing. And to know that your bet for USC Chairperson loses to the winning USC Chairperson by a meager margin of 80+ votes which could have easily been patched up by the (damn them) 200+ abstained "votes"--it certainly leaves one "nanghihinayang" (sorry, if you could just get me the English counterpart for this, I'd be eternally grateful). The councilors' slate seems a little more promising, though, but then again, a pretty conservative chairperson could spell a dormant incumbency for the coming academic year. What a drastic turnover. :|
